Pedro Masamuna, who took part in the Sustainable Technology for Africa contest arranged by OVO with Worldwide Solidarity for Education (WSE), has equipped the first school with his technology kit. The Likuni Boys Secondary School in Malawi was the lucky recipient.
Four solar panels were installed with 5 Raspberry pi3 and 5 LCD screens. The teachers were given training in using the software. Thanks to the 4 solar batteries, the 8 classes can also have lights at night, which allows the 376 students to carry on working.
Pedro Masamuna summarized it nicely in this video.
