On 19 March 2020, OVO will again organise the Sustainable Technology for Africa event in Belgium, in collaboration with the African Diaspora Projects Initiative, VITO and Thomas More. Projects can be submitted until 31 January.
6th OVO Congres about Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Africa
On Friday, 29 November, OVO (Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs) is staging its annual congress. Keynote speaker is Wouter De Geest, CEO BASF Antwerp and Chairman of Voka. He will present 'The view of a chemical multinational on economic development in Africa'.
For the first time, OVO is organizing the Sustainable Technology for Africa event in Kigali, Rwanda. This time too, the event is a collaboration with the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO) and the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
Lecture by OVO chairman Luc Bonte at the University of Ghent
On 6 May, Luc Bonte, chairman of Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs (OVO), will give a lecture at the University of Ghent on 'The contribution of companies to achieve the SDG's in the Global South'.
This event focuses on the launch of the OVO Acceleration Fund that supports African entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups. A number of them will present their project.
