Brigitte, OVO coach:

“Estelle, the owner, is a visionary entrepreneur focused on high-quality products produced through environmentally friendly processes. Her dedication and drive make this project highly promising.”

The entreprise

ZOE Rohi produces premium pineapple juice and dried fruits with a strong commitment to sustainability and quality.

The company follows eco-friendly production methods, including the use of renewable energy, waste recycling, and fostering an inclusive and fair workplace. This approach ensures compliance with the highest ESG standards, driving sustainable growth and positive impact on people and the environment.

The business project

Demand for healthy, natural juices and dried fruits is soaring, but ZOE Rohi currently cannot meet this demand due to limited production capacity. Located right in the heart of pineapple plantations, ZOE Rohi holds a unique advantage over competitors—many of whom outsource their production to her because of her direct access to fresh raw materials. Sales are rapidly increasing, attracting health-conscious customers as well as new private distributors and small retailers. The Benin government actively supports sustainable systems, positioning ZOE Rohi perfectly for accelerated growth.

Why OVO believes in this project

Market leader with direct access to raw materials: Prime location within pineapple plantations

- Expanding customer base:From small shops to large corporate clients ready to place orders

- Sustainability at its core:Renewable energy use, waste recycling, and social inclusion

- Government support: Benin promotes sustainable agriculture and production

Requested investment

To scale up production, the company plans to invest in:

- Tunnel dryer expansion: faster, more efficient fruit drying

- Digestor upgrade to 100m3: increased waste recycling and biogas production for energy, reducing costs and boosting output

The loan request is 50.000€, the company’s own contribution is 25.000€

These investments will be rolled out in two stages over five years, ensuring ZOE Rohi can meet growing demand while maintaining sustainable operations.
