Important Information 

• The first five artworks were auctioned during OVO’s 25th Anniversary Celebration on 22 October in Leuven.
• The remaining 9 photographs are open for bidding until 31 december 2025 (CET).
• Buyers commit to collecting their artwork in person in Leuven.
• All photographs are hand-printed in limited edition.

About the Photographer

Florence Gautier joined OVO on the field in Benin, capturing the energy, dignity, and creativity of local entrepreneurs. Her photographs reflect authentic encounters — moments of light, resilience, and shared humanity. She nurtures a taste for the elsewhere — a curiosity for humankind. Camera slung over her shoulder, eyes wide open, Florence Gautier seeks the beauty of a world that is not always kind.

Black and white, color — her images are open-hearted pages, stories of the magic of a meeting, of humanity revealed, inside and out. The journey of this self-taught photographer knows no end, no borders. India, Benin, Indonesia, South Africa, La Rochelle… She lays bare our shared humanity, inviting us to feel emotion in its purest form — here and everywhere.

Each of her works has been printed in limited edition, using a unique artisanal process that makes every piece one of a kind.
