Call for coaches Benin 2025

The next Boost Camp in Benin is being prepared and will take a different turn this year. Our local partner, GEL Sud Bénin, will be responsible for the content and organisation of the event, in line with OVO's mission.

Together with GEL Sud Bénin, OVO has launched a call for projects from Beninese entrepreneurs who meet our selection criteria. You can consult the call here: https://ondernemersvoorondernemers.be/fr/nouvelles/appel-aux-entrepreneurs-benin-2025

To date, seven entrepreneurs have been shortlisted. During a visit planned in the coming days, the GEL Sud Bénin team will assess the specific capacity-building/coaching needs of these entrepreneurs. You will find at the bottom of this email a brief presentation of the companies concerned, whose participation will be confirmed after this visit.

We're looking for Business Coaches!

We invite you to join this exciting initiative, in partnership with the Beninese Business Coaches who are members of the GEL Sud Bénin team. You have two options for taking part in this initiative, which will take place in Benin from 25 January to 1 February 2025:

• either take part in the trip and provide coaching afterwards
• or focus solely on coaching, without taking part in the trip

If you opt to do the coaching alone, the OVO coaches who took part in the trip and met the entrepreneurs, in collaboration with the Beninese coaches, will provide you with all the information you need to make the right decisions. 

The cost of participation is entirely borne by those who decide to make the trip.  

Boost Camp programme :

• Training courses organised by GEL on the following topics
  • Administration, finance and management control
  • Marketing strategy and digital marketing
  • If you have expertise in these areas and would like to take part in the training, please let us know.
• Company visits to find out about participants' projects
  Cultural visits to immerse yourself in Benin's rich heritage
• The main objective remains capacity building for entrepreneurs via coaching, with the possibility, at a later stage, of access to funding via OVO or other sources.

Inspiration Tour: visits to SusTech4Africa 2022/2023/2024 projects and new projects for the 2025 edition.

✔ Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 28, 29 and 30/01
Boost Camp: training given by GEL Sud Bénin. In the working sessions, entrepreneurs are accompanied in their thinking by Belgian and Beninese coaches

✔ Friday 31/01
Relaxation/ Sightseeing.

✔ Saturday 01/02
Flight to Brussels
