Save the date! OVO Congres Sustainable African entrepreneurschip

On Friday, 29 November, OVO (Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs) is staging its annual congress for the sixth time. It is being hosted by Herman Daems, Chairman of the Board of BNP Paribas Fortis, and Luc Bonte, Chairman of the Board of Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs (OVO), who will welcome you to an enthralling afternoon on the subject “Sustainable business in Africa”. Keynote speaker is Wouter De GeestCEO BASF Antwerp and Chairman of Voka. He will present  'The view of a chemical multinational on economic development in Africa'.

André BouffiouxSenior Executive Director Siemens, will also be speaking on the subject 'Africa, from a mere export continent to a fully-fledged bilateral business partner'. Apart from these two speakers, the Congress will also provide a platform for university rectors to present their open letter to the government: 'The problems of the Southern hemisphere are our problems too'. 

Rectors Herman Van Goethem, University of Antwerp, Luc De Schepper, University of Hasselt, Prof. Guido Van Huylenbroeck, Director of Internationalisation, University of Ghent and Chris Van Geet, vice-rector University Council for Development Cooperation, KU Leuven have already confirmed that they will take part in the panel debate.
