Akaboxi is financed with the support of OVO

Akaboxi has developed its own digital system for monitoring the savings of local farmers.
The Ugandan company Akaboxi, which won the first 'SustainableTechnology for Africa' event last year, can continue to grow thanks to OVO. With a handy digital system, Akaboxi takes care of the financial inclusion of local farming communities. It also offers management support to organisations, each with about 30 farmer families. Akaboxi provides direct employment. Today, it helps to improve the daily lives of more than 500 farming families, which can expand to 3,000 farming families in 2 years' time. Funding has been secured thanks to the OVO Acceleration Fund in collaboration with Close The Gap and Matthieu Boone. More about Akaboxi
