In april 2024 OVO formed an independent Investment Committee responsible for evaluating companies and investments against the criteria for the "OVO Certified: Investing for Change" label. This label indicates that a company and its growth project meet the minimum requirements in terms of viability, sustainability, legal compliance, risk management, sustainability goals, and impact.
Only projects with this label are presented to business angels for their final evaluation and potential investment. Once a project secures commitments from business angels, it becomes qualified for the OVO Acceleration Fund, which provides an additional 50% of the required funds following the identification of Business Angels.

To ensure independent and professional decision-making, the team includes members with various expertise and background, and volunteers who have known OVO for some time, as well as people with experience as investors, and experts from the diaspora.
